Necessary for pre-tensioning self adjusting clutches (SAC) before removal or installation. Tool kits allow operations on clutch with this device can prevent any damage to system and to keep adapter ring in right position. Prevents clutch plate distortion and avoid unexpected of clutch from disengaging or dragging. Designed for use with 3 and 4 fixing points and maintains the adaptor ring in the correct position.

The self adjusting clutch (SAC) achieves this, with much increased clutch clamping force but low release force. The design however, needs specialist service tools when removing or replacing the clutch components. This Self Adjusting Clutch compressor kit is a specialist set of tools for compressing the self adjusting clutches on Audi, BMW, Fiat, Mercedes Benz, Renault, Vauxhall and Volvo cars and light commercials. Maintains true alignment with the drive bearing during installation, the set includes clamping tools for three-hole and four-hole pitch clutch covers plus the specialist mandrels for BMW models where the fitted transit ring stops a conventional alignment mandrel being used. If the clutch cover is to be reused, the kit includes the essential reset tool which allows the adjuster ring to be repositioned back to its start position.
